Literary agent, pizza lover, dance fiend, park enthusiast, and that's just the beginning. There are no limits to what I can do. (She/her.)

I've been open to queries for 12 days, and I've already gotten 700 queries. I try not to have more than 800-900 queries in my inbox at once, so I will close to queries Friday, Oct. 2nd at midnight. Until then, submit away!

I highly recommend John's substack to any author looking to improve their craft. I continually learn new things from it. He's so good at breaking down not just what makes for good writing, but why it makes for good writing. How to think about language and use it in an impactful way.

Another Writing Across Difference post just dropped on Substack! This one explores how significant details can transform stereotypes into complex, believable characters. If you haven’t read the earlier posts in the series, I recommend having a look! johncopenhaver.substack.com/p/how-detail...

Wow! I just got an email from a scammer pretending to be Emily St. John Mandel. Apparently, she's a big fan of my work. 😅 They seem confused about whether she's a writer or an agent. They also say Emily has been representing books for 50 years, when she's in her 40s. 😂

Wow, what a list! So honored to see HALL OF MIRRORS on this list in Oprah Daily with brilliant writer pals Mariah Fredericks, Karen Odden, and Cheryl Head. And Margaret Atwood?! Being on a list with Alias Grace is insane. That's one of my favorite novels of all time. A masterpiece. bit.ly/4pLN6Gp
