Thanks for sharing. A more recent study on this showed overall impact looking also at instagram data. Paints a pretty bleak picture: meo.ca/work/old-new... But news is still being shared on the platform just with many work arounds.

This study gives a good idea of what happened to news consumption using social data from about 800 news outlets over a year. meo.ca/work/old-new... Bih drop in social engagement, many news outlets went dark on the social web, local news hit hardest, and few Canadians know. A bleak portrait.
