Games Finished for 2025 #16: Mario Kart 8 Deluxe The culmination of a franchise. Almost every track you would want is here. Anti grav is cool but, 200 CC is the real highlight. The new tracks look stunning, probably the best looking game on the Wii U/ Switch. The DLC is kinda hit or miss though.

Games Finished for 2025 #15: Mario Kart 7 I think it's secretly the best game in the franchise. The gliding and parts customization are great. It's just a really tight experience all around. It's crazy that a 3DS game can be the peak for a series. And 8 kinda just builds on it.
Going through chapter 1 and 2 of Deltarune for a fresh save file before tomorrow's release. Never fought Jevil, and I don't think I could have beat them without a pirouette guide oof.
Games Finished for 2025 #14: Mario Kart Wii The motion controls and bikes are not my favorite gimmicks, but the rest of the game is really great. It's the blueprint for modern Mario Kart games. While later ones are probably better, this one still holds up.

Games Finished for 2025 #13: Mario Kart DS Honestly up there with one of the best DS games. And a great entry in the series. Great drifting, but I'm not the biggest fan of snaking in the game. I can't imagine how bad it got with online back in the day. Also mission mode is a great addition.

Games Finished for 2025 #12: Mario Kart Double Dash!! One of the few MK games I missed out until now. I don't think the partner mechanics are very good, but the difficulty is great. Though I do feel like later games have kinda replaced this entry. But, shout out to Baby Park, easy top 3 tracks.

Games Finished for 2025 #11: Mario Kart Super Circuit Fun GBA game that's kinda just an upgraded version of the original SNES game. While limited by being a handheld game. It does still have great sprites and a vibrant color palette. Absolutely replaces the SNES game for me.
Well now I gotta play the rest of these to achieve true gamer status.
Games Finished for 2025 #10: Mario Kart 64 This game is such a big jump from the first game. Drifting and hopping are a lot better in this game, though still not perfect. Holds up better than most other N64 games. This game's tracks/music are still so iconic and really made this series what it is.
Games Finished for 2025 #9: Super Mario Kart Decided to go through all the Mario Kart games before World next month. Starting with the SNES. Really impressive for the time and still kinda holds up. Track design is very basic and drifting isn't quite there yet, but it's still really fun.

Games Finished for 2025 #8: Blue Prince A fantastic rogue-like puzzle game. Has a great sense of progression and discovery. The RNG can be a bit brutal at times, but you can manipulate it more as you progress. If you're a fan of Outer Wilds, Myst, and or Obra Dinn; absolutely check it out!

Games Finished for 2025 #7: Indiana Jones and the Great Circle Finally got around to finishing it, and it was a blast. A fun Indy story with great set pieces. The light immersive sim elements made the whole experience really engaging. Also Troy Baker and the rest of the cast really killed it.
