We don't go to heaven by hating people who are easy to hate. We go to heaven for loving those who are difficult to love, and who is more difficult to love than someone whose life is radically different from our own. Love the outsiders and marginalized, they need it the most right now.

And on top of all of that, we still have to keep working amd being parents, and plan meals for the week, and all the other chores. Its harder to motivate yourself when you know any day now could lead to mass incarceration of people like you. It makes living a happy life nearly impossible.

Trans people are exhausted. Non-stop fighting, writing, documenting, archiving, pleading, begging, hiding, crying and more. Exhausted. I have been considering similar tbh.

I might be unique in this, but one of my best friends since childhood is also trans and transitioned 8 years ago. Baking cookies together unsupervised on weekends makes a lot more sense now 😅 We're still close and talk although she's half the country away. Has anyone else had this experience?
