I've been refining my pirate swordfight drawing today and as much as I like it, I've really come to the conclusion that drawing humans is not my strength at all 😅 I get far more satisfaction from drawing the non-human world. So I may have to reconsider where I focus 🤔

The easiest way to tell if they’re older ones from Greece or later ones from S. Italy is to look at which way the creatures’ bellies are oriented…they’re usually facing the outer rim in the former like this one, and towards the center in the latter like the ones above! 😎
