Imagine seeing everything Trump touch turn to shit and still think you will need him to win. I can't imagine he'll be on many stages this October for candidates, especially in battleground races. The party isn't that stupid, right?

Even if there weren't civil rights/liberty problems, Flock cameras give way too much discretion to be abused. As has been seen time and time again. John Oliver last night touched on this, and it's not limited to police but also Flock employees and others.

When I was at the University of Alabama, my wife and I both had to have $365 passes. The only benefit we got was being able to pay monthly unlike students. The way my mouth dropped in my interview at my now-school when they were complaining about the $90/year parking pass.

The lot I was in for 12 years was sold last year & I was transferred to a new lot a 7 minute further walk away. I found out today that that lot was converted to student parking. I am on the wait list for 5 of the 7 closest lots to my building.

There's real issues in this country, but a segment of bigots are creating an inorganic non-issue about trans people and the WNBA. Nothing the bigots are doing is a coincidence with Sophie Cunningham, or truthful.
Places like 404Media doing the work that mainstream just isn't now. At least the former isn't holding info for a new book.

Amazing that I can be a scholar without the need for AI. I can use searches in the traditional sense, collect articles, synthesize the literature by reading it, and write a paper. People have done that forever already before the beginning of this decade. The quest for knowledge doesn’t need FOMO.

How is this not the quintessential definition of "whistleblowing" in California law? Btw, the prosecutor's office made the active choice to charge him. They could've just not. Kinda indicates where they stand on this issue. Sure hope the jury does the right thing here if it goes to trial.
