This stuff is what makes me terrified of exploring my identity and why I choose the path of least resistance. I cannot be certain I’ll be any happier if I make a decision. I can be certain that people in my life will be upset if I make a decision. Even those who are “allies”. So I just don’t.

amab here and uh yeah... just the other day I was asked by a young coworker if I was gay (i know, not work appropriate and yet it happened) Meanwhile, I feel like I'm walking on eggshells in most queer spaces because I'm not trans.

Made this map this week in 3 days for a music event my friends and i had on Friday. I've never made a beach map, or an outdoor map for that matter. This was purely a challenge. Was it neccessary? No. Could I have done better? Maybe. Was it fun? Absolutely.

I don't gloat often, but this week i gave myself a crazy challenge in world making, pulled it off and i'm super happy it worked out! Often, I feel like its a crime to be proud of my work. Like I'm just half assing all the time. But tonight, with all the bs i had to deal with, i really did somethin.

This working theory I have is that screen based lighting gives users something to ground themselves to (the screen lol), so it’s more well received with high contrast. Without something to ground people to, it may be come off disorientating in a headset when high contrast is employed.

Been wondering this for a while but are the flashing lights in dev_hell too intense? I experimented with more ambient lighting last event and that seemed to have helped a lot for some, but it still might be too much for others. Some even have said the opposite and claim it’s not enough, strangely

just a reminder, IO interactive is laying off people because microsoft is cancelling projects left and right to "save money". microsoft, the company that invested $2.5 billions in AI. The very same company that made $27.2 >BILLIONS< of profits in 2025, that pays its CEO $96.5 millions a year.

I feel so detached from this scene for a plethora of reasons. - I don't readily identify as trans. - I don't play many games - I don't DJ - I have extreme amounts of social anxiety. - Personality of a wet blanket. Why am I even here? I don't really have much to offer any more.

Bought the game two nights ago and finally got the gold wristband last night. Now to retire and never touch another driving game again.

I know I don't say it much, but I appreciate everyone that comes out to these dev_hell events, and those who play for them too! You all are awesome I know I don't show up as often as I should to other folks events, but I'm gonna try to be better about that. Hopefully you'll see me around more n.n

ALSO! To clarify: If you were trying to talk to me tonight or wish me hbd and I didn't seem really responsive, it's cause I was focused on doing the lights. I'm sorry! I wasn't ignoring you, I'm just not good at multi-tasking, especially in a social enviorment @_@
