Second time at Shu Da Xia in a week! Another fast getaway doing lots of activities (more escape rooms keep popping up), searching for realistic housing, and amazing food.
IMAX, Weekend, with more food that can be eaten by a landslide, is 15.50 SGD in JB. A normal weekend ticket with no frills is 16 SGD in SG. Looking forward to the RTS. Finally watched The Odyssey!

Can see (well, hear) why Nathania Ong is a West End star! Caught Legally Blonde and got wowed by the vocals and choreography of the entire cast. So much energy from the crowd too! #sgtheatre
Succulent steak meal at Enso Steakhouse! Everything was delicious. Even the bread and butter! The steak and its various sauces was wonderful in every way. Great spot for our double date.
Caught Teater Ekamatra’s restaging of CHARGED. I love these multiple-perspective stories, and the plot was really compelling, especially its exploration of racial harmony versus real racial understanding. #sgtheatre
Imperial Dining in Chengdu, multiple performances with so many courses. Was so full afterwards! Wonderful first row seats to the performances. Learned a lot about Chinese history.
Turns out there's a Cheesecake Factory in Chengdu too. We've been back two days in a row now.
Tried to bullet climb Emeishan overnight (3pm-6am), got stopped by a thunderstorm. Did 850m of elevation in five hours when we were stopped. Pretty good progress, we'll get em next time! Made many new friends along the way, including two who got chased by wild dogs.
High elements fun at Hou'er Tiankeng in Guiyang, China! Via ferrata, temple run, and giant swing all in one place.
Rafting in Gao Guo He, Guizhou! My goodness it was so crowded but the currents were way crazier than anything I've done before, like in Bali's Ubud. Made new friends with locals by having a water gun fight.
As always, if there's a Cheesecake Factory, I got to have it! Four times across three days.
Third and final day at Shanghai Disneyland, caught in a typhoon where it was easier to walk in the rain than open an umbrella. Park opened at noon on the second day because of the wind, but queues were light since locals probably didn't want to come. Another great Disney trip!
I'm back at Shanghai Disneyland! It's their 10th anniversary period. There's so much new merch in just a few months, my poor wallet. There's a typhoon coming in, how exciting!
Managed to catch Pangdemonium's (wow, two Pang productions in one weekend) teen performance of "Ride the Cyclone". Pretty fun plot with great music, and was blown away by how powerful these student performers were. Really amazing voices and accents that really sold the plot. #sgtheatre
Caught Pangdemonium's rendition of A Mirror, a gripping play that holds a mirror up to censorship, truth, and the power of storytelling. A longer production at 2.5 hours, but had me engrossed every minute. Catch Pang's second-last production before it closes 12 July! #sgtheatre
So many community partners this year at #PinkDot18! Love seeing all the initiatives people are building to support the freedom to love. Weather's really hot but crowd looks fantastically pink!
Girls Girls Girls by #WildRiceSG was a lot of fun! 20 dramatized real lesbian stories about love, struggles, and finding community. Glad to have caught it before Pink Dot and during this Pride Month. It makes me really treasure the space furries have carved out for ourselves!
Feels like the #SGFurs Megameet always gets bigger and bigger, or perhaps it's the PCD from LIFC kicking in! Nice catching up with many floofs <3
