White letters that say "Sexual Violence" over a purple background and the logo of the Ace Community Survey Team (four squares colored with the asexual flag colors. The last one has a white tick over it).Among aces, 15.7% had experienced non-contact unwanted sexual experiences in the past twelve months. One in ten (10.3%) had experienced some form of contact sexual violence, while 9.6% had experienced unwanted sexual contact. Around one percent had experienced sexual coercion (1.0%), rape (1.0%), or another form of contact sexual violence (1.2%). Of the ace respondents, 6.7% reported experiencing sexual violence related to their ace identity. Three quarters of aces (74.3%) reported that they had not experienced any of the above in the past twelve months. When analyzed by gender, the percentage of ace women and nonbinary aces who reported non- contact sexual experiences was more than double that of ace men (17.0%, 16.7%, and 6.9%, respectively), as was the percentage of those who reported experiencing rape (1.0%, 1.1%, and 0.4%, respectively). However, responses across the three groups were similar regarding other forms of sexual violence. Notably, a lower percentage of nonbinary aces reported experiencing sexual violence due to their ace identity than either ace women or ace men (5.6%, 7.7%, and 7.3%, respectively). Eight out of ten ace men had not had any unwanted sexual experiences in the past twelve months (82.6%), along with seven out of ten ace women (72.5%) and nonbinary aces (74.3%).When analyzed by gender and sexual orientation, nearly one out of five ace trans women (19.9%) reported having non-contact unwanted sexual experiences in the past twelve months, followed closely by intersex aces (18.8%), LGBPQ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, pansexual, polysexual / polyromantic, or queer) ace respondents (18.4%), and a slightly lower percentage of transgender and/or nonbinary aces (16.6%) and ace trans men (13.3%). While experiences were similar across the gender spectrum, a higher percentage of ace trans women reported experiencing sexual violence in nearly every category, including unwanted sexual contact (13.1%), sexual coercion (2.3%), rape (1.8%, which tied with intersex aces), and other sexual violence (3.6%) compared to all other groups. A slightly higher percentage of LGBPQ ace respondents reported experiencing sexual violence related to their identity, followed by ace trans women (7.2% and 6.8%, respectively). Three quarters of ace trans men (77.3%) reported no unwanted sexual experiences in the past year, followed by 75.9% of intersex aces and 74.5% of trans/nonbinary aces. Seven out of ten LGBPQ aces (70.9%) and ace trans women (70.1%) had also not experienced any of the above.
