I have been ace since I was ~15yo and have felt the erasure. I am ace and have people I trust tell me I'm not or imply as such regularly. I will still be ace tomorrow and that is because being ace is my reality. I am ace and we exist. That should be proof enough that asexuality exists too.

One of my oldest friends has struggled for years to write lore outside of any on-going roleplay. A few days ago, to my surprise, he started writing in-character diary entries, and I cannot tell you how happy seeing him send those entries has made me 💜
