There were 418 instances of ICE pushing, shoving, tackling, and pinning people during enforcement actions in 2025. An additional 150 incidents involved people engaged in activities protected by the First Amendment, including protestors, legal observers, elected officials, journalists, and clergy.
In 2025 alone, 155 U.S. citizens — including Indigenous people — were detained. An additional 30 legal permanent residents or green card applicants and 10 DACA recipients were detained.
Last year, 624 instances of ICE enforcement activities happened in everyday locations like neighborhood sidewalks, bus stops, gas stations, grocery stores, and malls—changing the nature of American life.
In 2025, 214 children were detained or targeted by ICE agents, including 32 U.S. citizen children.
