It is fully not a good deal in the traditional sense but Arteta and Berta are essentially banking on the highs being so high that it will not matter in the least. And honestly that’s not so crazy given the foundations they’d be adding to

If the final Bruno fee is £77m plus add ons, I don't think that's a great deal (if that matters). A "fair" price is probably 25-30% lower, if you think that he moves the needle on another PL title or winning the CL I think that is just about up to the price that you can justify.

When evaluating whether a winger is good in the press, I don’t recommend leaning on defensive actions numbers much. Once I saw Leão had higher numbers than Martinelli I became woke to this concept.

A lot of questions this morning but chief among them - How would Arsenal fans reconcile their undying need for rotation with how angry Vini gets when being taken out of games?
