Dennis Allen was as fired up as I've seen him in his presser this morning. Felt like he was talking to the team. Didn't pull any punches on the defense needing to improve. As is his tradition, every defensive player will need to do 40 up-downs to kickoff training camp today.

For all the talk about the #Bears' hard schedule, they are only underdogs in 5 games on the early lines: at GB +3 at SEA +4.5 at DET +2.5 at BUF +3.5 at MIN +1.5 They do have 4 home games as only -1.5 favorites though: PHI, NE, GB, DET.
The Madrid game was officially announced as Bengals at Falcons. The #Bears will head to Spain at some point, but it won’t be this season. 🇪🇸
The #Bears’ game at Seattle is their only game west of the Central time zone all season. Flying back from the west coast (especially night games) is always tough on player recovery. Getting that game on a Wednesday in Week 1 would be a break, putting 10 days between their first two games.

My top targets at each of the #Bears’ biggest positions of need (in the order I’d take them if they were all available): OT Monroe Freeling, Georgia Edge Akheem Mesidor, Miami S Dillon Thieneman, Oregon DT Peter Woods, Clemson CB Jermod McCoy, Tennessee Thinking 1-2 will still be there.

And that’s it. Team Shuster and USA fall to Ross Whyte and Scotland 11-6 and will finish 4th at worlds. Chris Plys and Colin Hufman are retiring. Who knows where Hamilton and Shuster wind up, but whatever happens this team belongs in the Sports Vibes Hall Of Fame

Ryan Poles confirmed the #Bears "checked into" trading for Maxx Crosby and it sounds like they'll continue to monitor the situation, as they do for all possible trades.
Garrett Bradbury was understandably shocked by the trade to the #Bears. Over the course of 10 mins, he got a call from the Patriots, the trade was released publicly, and then Ben Johnson called him. All of that happened before he could even tell his wife.
New #Bears center Garrett Bradbury flew to Chicago on Sunday to complete the trade and was able to spend some time with Caleb Williams.
Jedrick Wills Jr.'s knee issues were much more than a couple ligament tears. He also needed a femoral osteotomy to realign his femur with his hip. After sitting out a year, Wills visited the #Bears last week and signed a one-year deal. Low risk move that could help at LT if he can still play.
