Miami’s Ahmad Moten Sr. and Matthew McCoy were named to the Outland Trophy watch list. Moten, Bryce Fitzgerald and Damon Wilson II were named to the Bronko Nagurski Trophy watch list.
Two key returners on defense: Bryce Fitzgerald (3) and Zechariah Poyser (7). Fitzgerald, who could play safety or nickel this year, led the team with six interceptions last year.

I was having this argument on the other site the other day RE: the Marlins. The Marlins aren’t bad because they’re a “small market” team in an uncapped league. They’re a bad team because they keep drafting in the top half of the draft and haven’t developed a good player since Jose Fernandez.

Competitive balance is not the reason they want a salary cap. They just want to spend less, and with more predictability, on total payroll. That is all.
