#Tolkientober Day 1 - Mortality No Middle-earth race is more steeped in mortality than the Orcs, both that of others and their own. They are the ones truly "doomed to die", created both in- and out-of-world as walking swordfodder for the heroes and fading into nothing as the story ends. #orctober

a couple bits from the Empire article about TROP s3 that i haven't seen mentioned as much: - sauron's 'erosion' showing his inner self - forcing men to fight for rings in mordor - galadriel is 100% having weird dreams about stupid sexy sauron (and nightmares of death & destruction, etc)

The Ringwraiths.it, Galadriel is now a longtime ring-bearer, grappling with the gift of foresight - along with the accompanying burden - that her ring Nenya brings her. "It seemed to me that these Elves have just such intense, intrusive thoughts, constantly, about what's going to happen," says Clark. "She's having an absolutely crazy time in her mind. So that's quite fun to play. I feel like she is kind of alone in the way that her mind and the ring and Sauron affect her."
