Today is a dark day. I brought over a Home One Micro Machine and she was almost completely stumped. She correctly guessed "Rebel" and that it was from ROTJ. I gave her a hint, saying "this is the ship where the line 'It's a trap!' occurs". She said, and I quote "The weird general's ship?" Me:

For those of you following my new workplace Star Wars friendship with a newer/younger employee, I gave her partial credit when I placed the Nebulon-B Micro Machine on her desk and she identified it as “the ship where Luke got his new hand”. She then asked for the actual type and name of the ship.

This might be TMI, but it is so fucking hot on the coast here in California, I’m going full Winnie the Pooh while we sit in the backyard tonight. IYKYK

Pulled out my copy of Star Wars Chronicles Episode IV, V, and VI - Vehicles today. Translation technology has improved a lot since the first time I purchased this, fun to revisit! TIL that the ROTJ corvettes were repainted with orange markings vs. the original ANH red ones! 🤓🤯

I really, really enjoyed today’s episode of SNW. They never left the ship, but it was filled with good character development, a compelling story, and was an all-around great episode of Star Trek. 🖖

I had to end an online Star Wars RPG campaign I was GMing because I got too busy with school and one of the players threatened to blacklist me with all RPG players on the Internet.

I just don’t get what SNW is doing this season. I’m all for stand alone episodes (actually, I tend to prefer them), but today’s in particular seems like a creative but wasteful use of the limited episodes they get each season.

Hey LEGO friends. This is from a set titled "Rebel A-wing Pilot", but this is the helmet more commonly associated with ROTJ Y-wing pilots. Question- is this the only time this helmet has been used in LEGO Star Wars sets?

I can always count on my buddies over at TF.N in the Fleet Junkie thread for a good laugh. @the2ndquest.bsky.social revived this old chestnut after the Ahsoka trailer. 😂 It is a nod to a recurring forum joke when the Legacy comics were coming out. ❤️

More confirmation that the Defender-class cruisers of the New Republic are heavier armed that we initially thought. In addition to the dorsal six turrets and the large turbolaser on the ventral hull, they have cannons mounted in their central spine! In this shot, the cruiser fires a 2-3 shot salvo

Based on this shot, it appears that Home One (or another MC80A) took a shot from that superlaser, burning a whole lower section of the ship away! (look at the upper left of the image) I suspect that this weapon is what is one shotting those Defender-class cruisers.
