Just here for indie games and shitposts, but will also occasionally moan about the unasked for random crap in my discovery feed.

Why do so many book people gauge their interactions by how many books they've read over a time span rather than the quality of them? Well shit bro I've read 300 pamphlets since march... they were all mindless drivel but 300 is 300.

I love how controversial opinions on here are the opposite of twitter, usually both in content and handling. On twitter they post that shit to engagement bait, on here people just want to spew their unfettered dogshit into the void unopposed and immediately turn replies off. Weird interactions.

My selected interests on bluesky are videogames, comedy and music... so why is my discovery tab filled with people mourning the loss of their dogs and politics? I didn't ask to discover depression I already know what that's like. Condolences to the pet owners though.

Discussions about these kind of games these days often forget/unaware of the fact they were made bastard hard either to eat money at the arcade, or in the case of The Lion King, attempt to prevent players from beating them during a rental.

90s video game designer watching The Lion King: i really like the exuberant, colorful song with all of the animals jumping around. but you know what would make it better? if it was the single most frustrating level in any platformer ever

Banning social media for under 16's is a great idea only in theory. It'll section them from a lot communities, it'll have the same effect banning anything does in making it seem much cooler than it is, and it'll pave the way to selling more of our fucking data to Peter cunting Thiel.
