Not the best that comics have to provide in terms of cosmic horror or deep space horror, but it’s still work a look I think. I had fun with it and it’s got some pretty creepy imagery.

There are some choices that’ll be polarizing, like showing the demonic forces behind the movie, but, unlike the movie, this does not skimp out on the hellishly visceral, gory carnage.

Also the director of this also made “Meander,” another pretty good horror film. That one was about a man and a woman stuck in a futuristic metal tube where they can only crawl with death traps and monsters that they have to maneuver around to survive.

Mok’Noroth A Lovecraftian deity from a tomb a thousand feet below the surface.

This may just have the creepiest depiction of Joker gas I’ve seen in anything. The actors did a really good job at making their hysterical laughter also sound like violently desperate screaming at the same time.

Especially liked the Matches Malone & Mad Monk episodes. Not super jazzed about Riddler being reimagined as a trigger happy, adolescently tempered goon who “riddles” with bullets, but eh.
This season also has its own Mr Freeze, going by his original name Mr Zero. And he’s sort of a mix of Dr Phibes and Martin Finnegan from Bioshock. You know what? I kind of like it. It’s not the same lab accident and Nora story, so I’ll take it.

40 years later, Friday the 13th Part VI: Jason Lives is still my all-time favorite slasher. Plenty of movies have come and gone from my favorites list over the years, but this one has always been my constant. Happy 40th anniversary. ⚡🔪

Backtracking to Toy Story 3. Like the other entries, this one I hadn’t seen in some time. After the initial hurdle of back-to-back callbacks to the first two films, it REALLY picks up. And I appreciate Lotso a bit more after another glance.

I can’t believe Sadie Sink was playing Panda-Mania this whole time. Personally, I thought she was going to be a gender bent Stegron.
Not a single word between them. Just that sinking realization of the situation when Andy calls for Woody and the silent reassurance of Bo fixing Woody’s hat to say “It’s ok” when we know their hearts are breaking.
