Analysis of Welsh river level data by Afonydd Cymru is showing an alarming picture of water heights following the latest heatwave last week. Twenty-eight Natural Resources Wales gauging stations were registering lowest recorded levels (since data collection began at that location) yesterday. 1/2

Natural Resources Wales have today announced that North Gwynedd, Ynys Môn, South Gwynedd, Dee (Wales), Clwyd and Upper Severn areas are now at drought status. Catchments across south-west Wales have also moved from normal to prolonged dry weather status. bit.ly/4vH5QYP
