If you ever want to learn if you're addicted to something that's controlling your life, figure out that thing you use the most, whether it be social media, video games, alcohol, or porn, and try not to use it or think about it for a week or two. If you are addicted, you'll fail after a day or two.

One thing I've noticed while streaming from console is that there's usually 2 categories for every game (one official and one someone made) and twitch will ALWAYS auto-pick the one with less followers, which means less reach.

Yes I've opted out of the ai thing, but now I'm curious because I saw someone complain about tts as well, does this mean we aren't using tangia anymore? It's more or less replaced tts messages for a while so I'm curious.

Fortnite and the battle royale genre as a whole. I feel like it's success ruined a lot of longstanding multiplayer series because they all tried to follow fortnite's formula, which inevitably led to those other franchises losing what made some of them unique.

No hate, no dogpiling, just curious. For me, it's Skyrim. Don't know why, considering it should be exactly my kind of game, but it just didn't click for me.

what's you "I did not care for the godfather" of games?" written above a screenshot from family guy of the family being drowned by sprinklers in their panic room.

I still plan on going over Ecclesiastes 11 later, but I wanted to share this parable/story I found the other day for those who may not understand the Gospel too well. (Sorry idk why it's not in dark mode) The Just and Loving King

"If God is all-powerful...why couldn't He just forgive us?" It's one of the deepest questions in Christianity.

Imagine a king known throughout the world as perfectly just and perfectly loving. One day, someone steals from the royal treasury. The king decrees: "The punishment is 10 lashes." The thefts continue. The sentence becomes 20. Then 30. Finally, 40 lashes; a punishment no one could survive.

Then the thief is revealed. It's the king's own daughter. The kingdom waits to see what he'll do. Will he ignore justice because he loves her? Or will he uphold justice and lose his daughter? The king declares: "The sentence is just. It must be carried out."

His daughter is brought forward. The--executioner raises the whip. Then the king cries: "Stop." He removes his royal robe, wraps it around his daughter, and stands in her place. The executioner hesitates. "Your Majesty... the lashes will strike you." The king replies: "Then let them strike me." Justice is satisfied. The sentence is carried out. The king dies, but the daughter goes free because her father took the punishment himself.

That's the Gospel. God is perfectly loving. But He is also perfectly just. A good judge doesn't dismiss evil simply because someone says, "I'm sorry." Justice requires that sin be dealt with. Instead of demanding we pay the penalty, God paid it Himself. At the cross, Jesus took the punishment our sins deserved. So God remains both just...and the One who justifies those who trust in Christ. As Romans 3:26 says: "...so that He might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus."

The cross wasn't God's way around justice. It was God's way of satisfying justice while extending mercy.

"Bluesky is dying" bro you're talking about a website full of 38 year olds who have fringe political beliefs and listen to black metal bands with >1000 listeners on spotify, nobody here cares about popularity

And just like that, Twitch proves that democracy is completely dead. I'm still getting emails from the feedback section on Twitch's own website about how nobody wanted this, and yet they did it anyway, much like the government does with data centers. Ai will be humanity's end.

Twitch now uses your channel to train generative AI by default. You can opt out of some training here: www.twitch.tv/settings/sec...

Idk who needs to hear this, but there are some books out there that are literally 250 blank pages. Like, the only words they have are in the title. And they've made sales from those blank books. If you don't know what to do in life, go write a blank book.
