the pinkette didn't attempt to stop him from leaving. it always pained her to see old friends and how changed they were towards her when they realized she was now an agent of G.U.N. agent rose sighed and quietly turned away. waiting for him to leave so the aching in her heart would lessen.

instead of immediately answering the chameleon, the pinkette turned a bit to the side and stared off with a blank expression. her hands clenched into fists at her sides. the question made her slightly uncomfortable. "i am not telling you my reasoning. it's not something i can say. i'm sorry."

Espio put his kunai away, still a bit confused. The fact that she was an agent that he had never seen before contributed to that. "I see... looks like G.U.N. needed some more lackeys to carry out their missions." As the agent could probably tell, the chameleon had a... vendetta against them.
