#Cycle4Climate Espoo Forum 2nd day - with keynote from @htenkanen.bsky.social - addressed the role of data in understanding the spatial patterns of GHG emissions from urban mobility and in planning interventions to ensure impactful action.

Cycling4Climate Espoo Forum panelists found that for getting wintercycling rolling, one needs to identify what's there for them and start with small steps. Personal stories, activism, winter maintenance, and communication are also needed. Undoubtedly, it helps create foundation for personal health.

How to both sustain and develop lab practices in a dynamic and diverse research group? This was for me one of the core questions around the #MobilityLab development seminar last week, both fun and dense, and we continue the process until summer to reach a renewed internal agreement.

7 years ago, on a ski marathon, Rein Ahas, our research group leader and close friend, did not make it. With great sadness but deep gratitude for all the inspiration and support he gave us as a friend and colleague, we memorised him today with #MobilityLab members. We continue the work he started!
