Last week, we had the 1st edition of the Nottingham International Trade Summer School. It was a success, with fantastic lectures by Arnaud Costinot and Andres Rodriguez-Clare and high attendance! PhD students interested in trade, stay tuned for the next edition!

I think many would agree that today it’s key to understand the price impact of tariffs. We show average import prices rose and lowered consumers’ real income in the UK from higher chances of tariffs due to Brexit. I wouldn’t be shocked if the same is happening in the US now.
