Truthout@truthout.org · 4w agoSome strains of HPV can cause cancer of the cervix, vagina, vulva, penis, anus, mouth, throat, head or neck. The HPV vaccine is safe and extremely effective. But decades of misinformation has reduced uptake: For four years in a row, vaccination rates for teenagers have not budged.
I’m so sick and tired of these losers getting away with bald-faced lies. There needs to be a legal doctrine put in place that any politician or public figure who spews lies and spreads disinformation will be forbidden from going on TV and any station who gives them air time will be penalized.
