I think I did a bit of injustice to the original piece. It was unkind for me to imply that their opinion came from ignorance of the comics. They were much kinder in their response than I deserved. I understand their view that the individual movies should focus on the individual characters.

I decided to play Blitz Chess (3 and 5 minutes timed games) to help me improve my decision making. The games are much faster and it helped me fail more and learn from my failures. When I switched back to rapid (ten minute games) it felt like I had all the time in the world to make a move.
Finally sitting down with Assassin's Creed Odyssey (I know a bit late) just set sail for Megaris and WHOA NELLY! That was quite the setup.

I was confused when I first learned the concept of detachments in WH40k You choose a detachment for your army and it gives your army an archetype for what it's good at doing. I always thought an army would have multiple detachments. Part of your army specialized in one role. 11th fixes that.
I had a colleague who mentioned "my partner" even though he's in a hetero marriage. It gave me pause because it's yet another way we can disrupt the normal patterns of language.

I wrote my first program at 8...well actually I typed in the code listing from the back of Compute magazine and got a free game for my effort. I guess my favorite memory was my Nana giving me my first computer the previous Christmas it set me on the road to software engineering.

Care free and adventurous. In hindsight I put myself in serious danger a lot but because I didn't know better I didn't evaluate the risks of what I was doing.

Aside from my Atari, I'd say my Voltron. It was a two foot figure with individual lions and the lion cockpits could actually seat the pilot figures (sold separately I never did get the pilots to go in the cockpits)
