Some crazy stuff going on with the warm pool right now. You can even see it in the raw temperature plot, reversing the usual vertical gradient. May see Nino 1+2 and Nino 3 warm even further as this surfaces

Wanted to post on my own account about the work going on @tornadoarchive.com from Blue Ayanami, whose tireless work is uncovering a massive number of tornadoes in the 1800s. For example, there are now 60-70 tornadoes on 4/18/1880 and 3/27/1890, and over 100 (!!) in the 1884 Enigma Outbreak. (1/3)

Um, near 60 kt VROT in the mountains east of Layton UT right now.

Implications of this from anyone? Seems a rather major announcement.
