I work for a progressive social justice nonprofit. I train jiu-jitsu and kickboxing, and I coach women's self-defense. I have a shepherd/lab cross who is chaos incarnate and an orange cat with bad legs and no tail.
When anyone asks me why I train jiu-jitsu, kickboxing, and lift weights and why I coach self-defense classes, I'll just show them this.
