Good news story! Today the ACMA announced the decision to not register revisions the commercial TV industry proposed for the Commercial Television Industry Code of Practice. This means that 800+ additional hours will not open up for alcohol ads to further flood our TVs.

We have some fantastic news for your Friday. A proposal that would have opened up an additional 800 hours every year for commercial TV networks to run alcohol ads will not go ahead! #auspol #publichealth

What a fantastic article with top tips by @mikedaube.bsky.social on research translation and advocacy. It also highlights the importance of working with our wider network and community in research translation and advocacy. We can't do it all on our own, but together we can achieve great things!
