I’m BEGGING, people, please stop boosting this bit of rage bait. The headline is inflammatory and misleading. GPS jamming was off and the pilots were on a visual approach when the incident occurred.
Air quality is ok but there’s a distinct haze right now with trees slightly obscured barely 100m away. Sun is just a little too yellow for the time of day but not orange, so that’s good. No cloud in sky but it’s gray from high altitude smoke. What a strange new world we live in now.

Does anyone know why the status of the Spokane Old Trails fire has not changed in 2 to 3 days? The size has been the same, it’s still described as 0% contained, and the map does not seem to have an updated. This is across multiple data sources.

LPGA policy pre Trump was that for trans women to participate they not only needed to be on HRT with documentation of suppression of testosterone for *years* they also needed to undergo surgery to be approved. Knock it off with this straw man shit.

I think the folks who use generative AI in their podcasts/youtubes/TikTok’s etc genuinely do not understand that it actively repels a significant fraction of their audience. If there’s a podcast with an AI image, I do not listen to it. If the link or header image is AI, that’s an instant unfollow

Agree. Also I find the existence of the “mute account” option very funny. It’s like the “you’re annoying but didn’t do anything block worthy and I don’t want to unfollow you bc you’ll see that so imma just pretend you don’t exist” button.

He specifically cited the 1930s SCOTUS courthouse. It reads to me as far right nostalgia like the groyper obsession with greco roman architecture.
I don't think people are ready for this kind of joke yet.
To the degree, that Trump has done anything good, it has generally been inadvertent, or, more often, implemented as poorly as possible, like the penny.
