State Rep for District 95 Nicole Collier is being held in the Texas State House against her will because she refused to sign an agreement to allow a DPS officer to escort her at all times. She is the only person that refused to sign and if she tries to leave they will arrest her.

I know there’s lots of folks who are deaf or hard of hearing that watch city council meetings but can’t see the ASL interpreters when watching online so I asked the council staff and they’re working to fix that by the next meeting. Hoping this helps the accessibility needs Memphians have 😊
