I was trying to add GitHub’s MCP server to Claude Code and man, the official docs make it weirdly hard they suggest running it via Docker 🤔 which is odd because... GitHub *does* have a remote MCP server

🚀 Now available: A Simple Starter Kit for Building macOS Menu Bar Apps I’ve been exploring macOS development for a few months now. One of the projects I worked on was PopLight, a menu bar app that monitors internet connectivity. Building it was fun, but getting started? Not so much.

We took our 2.5 y/o to the Christmas market in Salzburg yesterday, where she discovered these soaps. She meticulously picked up and smelled each of the 20-odd varieties before settling on these - a heart and a Euro coin. Unwittingly, of course. Still, not a bad choice in life! 😊

Every time I fly, I message my family: boarded, taking off, landed. For years, I did this manually. Just turned it into an iOS shortcut. It asks for my status, drafts a quick message in iMessage or WhatsApp. Super simple, but efficient. I like.

This would be pretty cool. Like an old school RSS feed, but no reader needed. I like.
