DEI is a corporate term, CRT is a legal framework, Black Lives Matter was a political slogan, Staying woke was a colloquialism. It’s not individual terms at fault here, people aren’t being confused into racism.

The kind of racism Trump & his ilk espouse is old-fashioned, even as it’s dressed up in modern DEI discourse. They get close to saying it outright but haven’t yet—but make no mistake, they sincerely believe white people are biologically & intellectually superior to nonwhite people.

in order to properly understand the racist murder cult, you need to attend a racist murder cult meeting. there is so much nuance that has been overlooked by decades of scholarship on racist murder cults.

MLK is a great example of why just following polls and doing whatever is popular at the time isn't always a good idea. I Have a Dream was 1963. The Civil Rights Act was 1964. By 1966, King's net approval was -30, with 44% highly unfavorable. Over time, large majorities realized he was right.
