another #wip for the Byleth Bash, this time for Blue Lions day 💙🦁 inventing a new version of the bechdel test, but it's for writing a conversation between Byleth and Dedue that's not about Dimitri 😂

He didn’t protest when the professor motioned for him to stand aside. He watched, silent and expressionless, as she approached the horse. In seconds, any trace of its discomfort vanished. Instead of shying away, the horse nosed at her pockets, whickering happily as she stroked its head. “My apologies,” Dedue said stiffly. He stared over the top of her head. “Horses do not like me.” The professor hummed. “Animals are intuitive.” Dedue’s heart sank. Despite the many cruel and abusive words he’d faced in life, the professor’s condemnation felt far worse. “Of course,” he said, trying to sound indifferent. “Even horses know to fear a man of Duscur.” Byleth glanced over her shoulder, brows slightly furrowed. “A horse does not know what Duscur is.”

I'll study arms/shoulders next since I need it and then move to perspective and drawing boxes It's so difficult to draw one character in relation to the other 🤔 Probably my biggest weakness right now

I want to study composition harder. It's difficult but interesting, and it's fun to see that every authors have their own paneling style. Going digital also enabled the use of effects like gaussian blur, so modern mangas can be depicted like a movie 🤔 Like in Oyasumi punpun, Goodbye Eri
