Bloody hell James! @mrjamesob.bsky.social I just watched the Corrie episode you referred to. But what a great dialogue: “How long were you married?” “50 years.” “Never a cross word, eh?” “Nothing but, son.” True love!

@mrjamesob.bsky.social Why are children so unhealthy? There is undoubtedly not just one answer to this, but I bet this plays a significant role…
@mrjamesob.bsky.social re the Red Arrows - it's the other way round. They fly whatever is the current 2-seat training aircraft used for advanced pilot training. Previously it was the Folland Gnat, now it is the BAe Hawk. They won't have a plane because the RAF won't have a 2-seater trainer.
I think Nigel Farage is feeling the pressure - see screen grab from the clip in post below
"Right now, I'm the only person." Nigel Farage believes he's got sufficient 'rapport' and 'courage' to become Prime Minister.
4/ It would have huge well-being outcomes, which in themselves will improve society. We drink 2 L of water and breathe in 11,000 L of air every day. We wouldn't want our children to drink dirty water, so why would we let them breathe dirty air indoors?".
3/ "Additionally, a program of installing air filters to reduce the spread of sickness in schools will stop others becoming sick too. It will improve productivity, help the economy, & drive growth while protecting the NHS & taking the pressure off benefit budgets.
2/ "...to provide pupils and staff with clean air. About the same cost of a coffee & a cake. This simple solution would pay for itself many times over very quickly from the savings from supply teacher budgets".
1/ "The #CleanAirForKids campaign has calculated that over the 20-year lifetime of an air filter running all day in schools during term times, including installation & running expenses, it would cost less than a tenner per child per year... @ruthbrooker.bsky.social youtu.be/27cH_0E8HQQ?...

@mrjamesob.bsky.social Why is this behaviour now happening? See this post in attached pic from someone who describes himself on Twitter as: "Consultant Neuropathologist, UK. I dissect brains for a living. Always backed by science. Using an alias."

On Wednesday, Baroness Linforth spoke in the UK House of Lords about the benefits of clean air in schools. In 4m 30s, she explained how it would reduce sickness absences, improve pupil focus, reduce supply teacher costs, and reduce spread of illness into the community www.youtube.com/watch?v=27cH...

If a vacancy were to occur in Parliament, for example, if an MP resigns, then the convention is that the Chief Whip of the party whose MP held the seat will move the writ for a by-election *within 3 months* of the vacancy occurring. Just musing out loud…
@mrjamesob.bsky.social you asked what is Labour’s equivalent of the 1922… An MP has to deliver the names of 20% of the PLP who will nominate that MP to stand for Leader to the Labour Party General Secretary (currently Hollie Ridley) who will then report that fact to the NEC, and the contest begins.

@mrjamesob.bsky.social Just in case you haven't seen this
I know there’s a lot going on with the Labour Party, but it is all in the bounds of democratic politics. This however, paid collusion between the leaders of two political parties in the run up to election, if true, is a scandal of staggering propositions
@mrjamesob.bsky.social Many people carry meningitis bacteria in their nose and throat and do not get ill. It's only when the bacteria invade the body, entering the bloodstream or reaching the brain and spinal cord, that it gets very serious very quickly. 1/7
CATA (Covid Airborne Transmission Alliance) has today issued this press release ahead of next Thursday's publication of the Inquiry's module 3 report: tinyurl.com/CATA-press-r...

CATA has found via FoI requests that government bodies did not fully disclose vital evidence to COVID Inquiry. They ignored views of PHE that airborne precautions should have been available to all HCWs. WHY?

Plenty had a suspicion the printers was taking the hit for Reform so they could dodge a massive fine. If it holds up the forensic evidence proves intent to commit fraud and evade electoral law. Oopsies someone may be going to jail.
@samcoatessky.bsky.social See below re the Reform letter in G&D - my reply to Rob Ford's post. This is a bigger story than not having an imprint. I believe it was a deliberate attempt to deceive voters, and then the printer had to come up with a story to cover for being found out. It's not an error
The printers are can't be telling the truth. The imprint wasn’t trimmed off. It wasn’t on the proof. If it was, the letter would be shorter, or the imprint was outside the print area. It’s a cover-up. This is what happened in 5 posts: 1. In order to make the ‘neighbour-to-neighbour’ letter...

There are two official UK Inquiries currently asking why so many young people are not in work, education or training; and why so many of them are sick these days. Both Inquiries have calls for evidence. There are links to each in the tweets linked below. If you have evidence, please submit it 1/3
Why no change in WHO guidance? Why no change in Government position? Simple! Too many big backs to cover. Too many reputations at stake. Too much concern about pending litigation.
@mrjamesob.bsky.social I think the advert from Progress Action Fund in the post below summarises ICE nicely…
The MAGA Justices on the Supreme Court just allowed ICE to stop people based on their race, job, or Language. Some say this isn't happening, but then why did the MAGA court legalize it?
