Koji in Wellington was my favourite restaurant on my recent tour of New Xealand. The flavours, the tastes, the weird bits and bobs that don’t even look like food. I kept their card and I gaze at it every day.

So touched am I by the “most recent” reviews of my new audiobook that my bloated ego has had to turn to my small but perfectly formed Bluesky following to share the good news: www.audible.co.uk/pd/White-Mal...

So sad to hear about Anthony Head, it’s come as a complete shock. Far too young. A really good actor and a nice person to share a set with in my early days when I didn’t have a clue what I was doing.
#MusicSky Alexander Wolfe's catchy "Song For The Dead", aka the theme from Whites, a (recommended) BBC comedy starring Alan Davies. youtu.be/3GgxgmlIe9o?...

Aww, the teens got off at Great Malvern. Last thing I heard was a hearty cry of ‘Have you got a vape?’ Sun cream is what they need. *incidentally vape auto corrects as cape which is the kind of light relief you need on a massively delayed epic trek across our baking homeland.
Some shirtless youths have got on this Hereford train and are playing some x rated rap and saying things like ‘I swear she showed me the pregnancy test’ and ‘I don’t like my sister but I love my sister’ followed by ‘do you fk?’ Necessary cultural halfway house before appearing at the Hay festival.
Highly recommend Helen Longstreth’s memoir Things In Every Room. www.thetimes.com/article/9f39...

First time in my stand up career that a festival has added a warning that my show contains ‘swearing.’ Glasgow audiences must be more sensitive than they used to be. We’ll find out on March 29… www.glasgowcomedyfestival.com/events/alan-...

I’m on the One Show on BBC1 at 7 with the Pussycat Dolls. Not sure how to prepare. Perhaps I’ll do the calming exercise Michael Palin’s character used in GBH to help him get over bridges
Thank you, what a nice message to receive on my birthday. And, for the avoidance of doubt, I can confirm no money changed hands in the creation of Verity’s post.
A belated #worldbookday post. These are the books I’ve read so far this year; I’ve loved all of them for different reasons. Thank you @alandaviescomic.bsky.social for sharing your story. It is so exquisitely written and moved me to tears. This, with Just Ignore Him, will stay with me for life. ❤️
Dear Mr Alan Davies, Your application for a 60+ London Oyster photocard has been processed and will be delivered within 5 days. 🕺🥳
I am now 60 as of 5 minutes ago. So many old people’s forms to fill in so I can get my discounts. I’ll be up all night.
Recording QI all day and last night. Many klaxons, massively in negative points deficit. Only an idiot would not have lowered self esteem at this moment. And yes, I am that idiot.
