Spider-Man: Brand New Day was a great movie. The story is somber and the emotional moments are strong. All the scenes with Peter Parker and his best friends were huge highlights for me. The action scenes are always fun to watch. Great job Tom Holland. 🕷️🕸️

I’m on a Christopher Nolan high so I decided to rewatch Tenet. I understand it more the second time but the plot is still a little confusing. With that said, all the backward scenes and reverse special effects are jaw dropping. When you are done watching The Odyssey, watch Tenet.
Watching The Odyssey in IMAX was an epic experience. Christopher Nolan is the GOAT. The sound design was incredible. The cinematography was gorgeous. I knew there was a Cyclops but there are more scenes that surprised me. A wonderful cast and the last action set piece was awesome.

The Invite was hilarious, sexy, awkward, and heartbreaking. This is why you should never go on a double date because then you are competing with the other couple. But seriously, all these 4 actors have great chemistry. I loved all the español moments too. Great job Olivia Wilde.
Evil Dead Burn was super bloody and bat shit insane! I loved so many shots and camera angles in this movie. These demons are crazy and move with full ferocity. Souheila Yacoub was the leading star and tough as nails. Make sure you stay after the post credits for a fun surprise.
Jackass: Best and Last was a fun time. It was rare to see Johnny Knoxville get emotional since this is the last ride. The new stunts are good but the never before seen footage was really cool. I love this series. I hope Sami Zayn watches it, then he and Knoxville can hug it out.
The only movie I will watch on 4th of July. I love The Sandlot.

Platinum Trophy #81: Toy Story 2: Buzz Lightyear to the Rescue. That’s a long title. Anyways, I know Toy Story 5 came out 2 weeks ago and I couldn’t wait for the Retro Roundup Collection. So I played this PS1 classic again. So much nostalgia and I still enjoy it to this day.
Happy 30 Year Anniversary to It Was Written by Nas. This had a more commercial sound than illmatic but it was still dope. I Gave You Power is my favorite song. I was 3 years old when this album originally came out and I still have my CD copy. 💿

Backrooms was strange, weird and creepy. Chiwetel Ejiofor and Renate Reinsve gave good performances. The music is haunting. I know it was filmed in Canada, but I was happy to hear streets of my hometown in San Jose in this movie. I wore this shirt to try to match with the poster.
Toy Story 5 was delightful. My nephew and I loved it. Jessie is the bright star of this movie. I was laughing and getting emotional during some scenes. I was 3 years old when the first one came out and I will always watch their new adventures forever. My favorite Pixar franchise.
If you are in the mood to watch a funny movie with epic special effects, I recommend Journey to the West: Conquering the Demons. You can watch it for free on YouTube now. It’s been a long time since I’ve seen it and it’s still so good to this day.
The Furious is the best action movie of the year. Easily the best martial arts film of the last decade. My best friend and I had high expectations and we were blown away. Pure fists, kicks, hammers and so many weapons. All the fight scenes and camera work is incredible. 10/10

#ScaryMovie was so funny. The Substance scene was my favorite part and it made me laugh the loudest. It’s great to see the original cast and legacy characters back together again. Go watch Scary Movie in theaters with a group of best friends like I did.
