Just a recent immigrant from Facebook looking for a friendlier place to call home. Proud and grateful to be living in Lingít Aaní. Veteran of the Air Force and soon to be retiree of Higher Education.

My son finished a skateboard deck he'd started in H.S. during an art camp. He's not a form line artist but utilized skills he'd learned under the instruction of a Lingít artist, wish I knew the teacher's name. It was his retirement gift to me as it pained me to see it not being completed.

I have a theory as to why Zuckerberg is in Juneau. Call me paranoid, but after a recent vague presser with Sullivan and Army Corp. of Engineers I'm expecting META to propose using Suicide Basin as a way to cool a META data center in our backyard. Am I crazy, paranoid, or just way out there?

everyday it seems like we're taking big strides toward a real-life version of 'Robopocalypse,' a cheery little novel about an AI (which, spoiler, is buried in Alaska) taking over the world's machines and obliterating humanity essentially overnight but, hey, Alaska mentioned!

What is it about Alaska that makes us a magnet for every ludicrous clearly-never-gonna-happen megaproject that people dream up? www.adn.com/business-eco...

This amazing scientific advance may one day lead to either more effective treatments or dare I say perhaps a cure. This is why it is vitally important to fund basic scientific research. Scientists Discover Way To Reverse Chemical Process Linked With Alzheimer’s Disease share.google/Vm0hfSMfkGIc...
