BildDearest Friends,

In a quirky kingdom far, far away, where magic is real and glitters, a fairy and a Misfortune compete for a mentorship by helping a down-on-her-luck bookseller avoid an Unhappily Ever After in Until the Clock Strikes Midnight. Our fairy, Darling Sparkleton, believes everyone *needs* a Happily Ever After, while our Misfortune, Calamity son of Blight, believes only an Ordinary Ever After can prevent chaos. And our bookseller, Lucy, well... she believes that living is just something you do while you dream of art and the beautiful girl who makes your heart race every time she comes in to buy a book. But what if it could be more?

This fairytale is near and dear to my heart; it’s inclusive, BOLD, and full of joy. It features representation that means the world to me; mental illness, disability, body neutrality, and never shies away from big, messy emotions. My hope is that by the end, you’ll feel seen and loved, and––like Darling and Calamity––believe all things are possible with compassion, trust, and a generous dash of fairy dust. I hope you’ll give it a chance.

All the love,
Alechia

TWO WEEKS until my cozy young adult romantasy comes out. Vibes are a fairytale devil and angel sitting on your shoulder giving you their conflicting advice while kinda sorta falling in love. I hope you’ll preorder a copy or eight.

Please do not read my books if you don’t like queer characters living happily. I have published 6 books and every single one of them is queer normative. I will not put content warnings on LGBTQA+, you should not be surprised by the existence of people and I am not catering to your fanatical whims.
