Making a game engine for 67th time. Ahh yes. This time, it's serious. I promise.

I’m so glad that there are some events dedicated to #gamedev at my small city. These events are a great opportunity to showcase the hard work people have done. But the more important thing is to get the feedback, especially when the event is offline.
Making a network local plug for a singleplayer part was one of the most important things when you make a multiplayer. Because NOW I don’t need to split my code into SP and MP code, AND IT WORKS.
Rewriting the netcode. Attempt #2. Lets gooo
Well, making a text-based coop game sounded like a good idea in my mind. But in practice it’s not. Unfortunately.
Is there any programming languages like C, but more… portable? Like a small language with the same features (maybe except pointers, but with references) and you can write your own backend for a specific CPU. That’s basically what I am looking for right now.
I see people really hate when someone uses AI in the game development, especially in art. Some of the arguments are fair enough. Nobody wants to listen/watch a natural AI-slop, mostly because it has no “soul” or just looks bad. It’s kinda obvious. But what about using AI for code writing?
Yeah I need to learn how game design works. Making an engine is hard, but making a good (or at least interesting) game is harder.
Making an engine for 4849938th time just to do this. All backend stuff is made in C++, while the game part is written in Wren. #gamedev
I love #wren. It’s a good scripting language. But I also love types (like TS) and it would be really nice if someone would make a typed version of wren. Yes, just like JS and TS. I know that @luxeengine.com already made this, which is great, but not open to everyone (as I know).
You are nothing more than a normal distribution in statistics.
I don't understand one thing: how do people make some stuff without the reference from another things? All my projects get inspired from another artwork I, personally, like. Making something really unique is very rare nowadays.

Every time when I start using Unity/Godot as an engine I start feeling some disgust of it. By years of C/C++ programming I realized, that it's much easier to use DIY engine for games, because I have full control of what I do.
You can’t say you are a professional game developer until you finish at least one prototype. That’s my opinion.
You guys are so talanted. I wish I could be just like you all. 😔
Where do you get the idea for the game you want to make? I know that, mostly, people want to make some already exist game or even two, just like combine it together and whoala or something like that. But, seriously, how do people get the unique ideas? #gamedev
The hardest thing in Gamedev is to stay focused on a project for a long period of time and don’t get burned out. Many of my projects got cancelled due to loss of interest (sad). But now I learned that I should take a more thorough approach to development. At least to think through design document.
