I have a website, blog & newsletter, and I post daily to ~10 social media platforms. What is working? I have no idea. But I make news friends, my numbers slowly grow, and Meta pays me a few pennies each month (literal pennies) It still doesn't seem to be enough but I won't give more #kidlitchat

TOPIC: What are you doing these days to maintain a professional presence that also reaches your audience? Is it... websites? Social media? Newsletters? Video? Text? ESP??? All or some or... what is working for you? #kidlitchat

My mother (a professional secretary) also had an electric typewriter, but I swore I'd always handwrite my first drafts on legal pads. I held out longer than you might think. I eventually caved, but I still handwrite poetry, notes, my journal & many other random things. My handwriting is excellent.

Never once. My mother had an electric typewriter when I was growing up but I almost never used it for anything. I started writing in earnest around 1984, which is when the first Mac showed up. That's what I really started writing on. I'm a computer kid all the way.

Clicked on my Azn Reviewer profile this morning...it's nice to see when people find my product reviews helpful! Especially the one I wrote for that TERRIBLE BTS constellation sticker. Ugh. It's like they TRIED to make it as horrible as possible to cash in on ARMY love. amzn.to/4zd8Ijs #MagicShop

I've seen many storms in my life. Most storms have caught me by surprise, so I had to learn very quickly to look further and understand that I am not capable of controlling the weather, to exercise the art of patient and to expect the fury of nature ~Paulo Coelho 📷 Alethea Kontis

To be born is to have no choice but to accept the era, the place, the life we're given. To exist here and now is to lose countless other possible selves, with no way back. That is why anime voices our hopes and longings. It shows our lost possibilities. – Hayao Miyazaki

A black-and-white portrait of Hayao Miyazaki, the legendary animator and storyteller. His neatly trimmed white beard and thick-rimmed glasses frame a face full of wisdom and quiet determination. He wears a dark bucket hat, slightly tilted, and gazes with an introspective calm. The interplay of light and shadow enhances the depth of his expression, reflecting the mind behind worlds that have shaped the imagination of generations.
