There is something to be said about maintaining the party line in order to deliver on a clear and cohesive political project. But the DSA has and is not designed for either of those things, so divergence from a chapter's statements and open protest of its elected members is to be expected.

trans chicks be broke asf having like 4 bitches. no wonder they're walking them around in their apartment dressed like dogs and shit, they gotta run out of free date ideas after like one week.

if i were head of nintendo i'd be like link is neurodivergent and bigender. mario is mexican now. just throw shit out there and respond with shrugging emojis to people that get mad.

Really really funny that I took the trouble to pack my camera and buy spare batteries for my NYC trip and never once took it out of my bag. Should probably use the coming fall weather to get some hikes in to take some classic Alex pictures of rocks.

Are there any birds that don't lay eggs? Probably. “Rule of the Exception.” But scientists would probably turn around and say, “Actually, that's not a bird. It just looks like one.” Like what they did with whales and dolphins in regard to fish.

Forgot to post anything here about my NYC trip. Was really fun and honestly kind of eye-opening about how unfulfilling I find living in the South to be. I meant to take more pictures but I kept forgetting my camera at the apartment when I went out. 😓

DSA is seemingly becoming more politically relevant due to the success of politicians who are not even members of the org. Even the ones that are (Mamdani) seem totally independent from the organization. Seems like DSA should ask itself: how do they work toward their disavowal having influence?

Americans simultaneously have the least revolutionary potential in their domestic politics as well as the largest influence over the entity that limits the revolutionary potential of other nations.
