The Event Destinations Initiative is a community effort aimed at creating a model for event interoperability between event producers and their consumers.

Data from Shopify's Black Friday webhook performance. ~50B webhooks with latencies of p50=1s, avg=2s, p99=7s. Three latency spikes (400% for 2-5min each). Rock-solid since 11/30 14:00 UTC. This is what reliability at scale looks like. The team deserves praise!
