Hell of a comeback by the Fire. Showed a lot of heart against the best team in the league without their leader. Happy to see they can hang with the Lynx.

Goodbye Lloyd Center 👋 A lot of childhood memories, riding the 70 bus there every summer. Bought a $5 movie ticket to spend all day at the theater, then to play at the arcade, listen to music at Sam Goody and to just hang out with friends. Shame it couldn’t stay what it was.
Nothing better than having a regular group that you can play pickup hoops with. The community and the bond, while trading off between being competitors or teammates at anytime. One of the best things in life to enjoy.
The Fire let off the gas and sent in their third string way too early.
Asking Blazers fans to show up to support the team after everything they’ve done under Dundon’s watch? That’s a bold strategy, Cotton. Let’s see if it pays off for ‘em.
Dewayne Hankins asked Blazers fans to show up to Portland City Council tomorrow at 9:30am: "That’s why it’s so important that the City Council hear from you. This is bigger than basketball. It’s about Portland’s future." Ok. How about: "Ask the team to share details so we can make a deal"? Good?
Another non-shooter for the Blazers. But Sochan has some good vibes, I think.
The one thing that scares me is it feels like Dundon won’t budge an inch in any negotiation. And if it’s more than just the arena, then who knows where this will get dragged out to. Doesn’t sound too great.
if this is going to be the line then fuck these guys
Holding our breathe with Portland City Council meetings now.
Is Portland perfect? No. But what’s great is the restaurant scene is still incredible. Walk Hawthorne, Division and NW 23rd, and the energy is still there. The hiking, golf and outdoors are unbeatable. The coast, Gorge and mountains still make for awesome day trips. This area is still special.
If true, offering a 60% pay cut is insane. AND no benefits, travel or an analyst? This is who the “Blazers” are now?
Do the Blazers know two-way players don’t always have to be guards?
The Portland Trail Blazers are signing guard John Tonje on a two-way NBA contract, George Roussakis and Mark Bartelstein of @PrioritySports tell ESPN. Tonje appeared in six games for the Celtics last season as a rookie.
Bruce gone too?! Just another completely tone deaf move and being unaware of what Bruce brings and his craft of being one of the best photogs in the biz.
This article also says Bruce Ely is no longer with the team. Hadn't heard that reported, but is a gut punch, too. www.wweek.com/sports/2026/...
The sign of a great announcing team is not only being the voice for iconic moments, but keeping fans engaged in tough times. Kevin Calabro is a pro, and was still selling the product the Blazers put out there and had us all tuning in during the obvious tank era. Tough to see him go.
I don’t even recognize what the Blazers are anymore. Winning is obviously the top priority, but what makes the Portland franchise special is how connected the community is with the team and its staff. Dundon has blown that up.
Negotiations happen. But hopeful the city of Portland and the Blazers are acting in good faith, and both sides want to get a deal done. Devastation isn’t a big enough word to describe how it’d feel to lose the Blazers.
Really hopeful the Blazers have another big move left to bring in some wings. If not, then … I dunno how this is gonna work.
It’s wild how many takes there are about the Blazers now since trading for Ja. Like just a random IG post from Chris Bosh talking about the Blazers on his own account shows up on my feed. A lot of people want to see Ja succeed and see this as a good opportunity for him to resurrect his career.
Blazers roster 📝 Starters: Lillard Morant Avdija Camara Clingan Bench: Scoot Sharpe Holiday Timelord Carlson Cissoko Krejci Yang That’s 13 already. Still got Thybulle and Love TBD.
This is a horrible look. Like history repeating of The O’s coverage of the Jail Blazers back in the day.
Again, Ja Morant was neither arrested nor charged for anything that went down during his time with the Grizzlies. The Oregonian should be ashamed of themselves for this

LeBron seeing the Ja trade and Timelord return, and now wants in on Portland 🙃
Big time get to re-sign Timelord when it seemed like he had other interested teams. Changing that Portland culture to show that players want to play and stay here.
“The Blazers believe the four guards can co-exist.” (via Quick)
