The UI hasn't changed, but there's a lot new 4 NBA-scores! - switched API’s - added server side route 2 call API - consume those results on the front w/SWR - team logo images r properly controlled - run a script 2 mock api data - another script reverts 2 calling the API github.com/AlexVCS/nba-...
Made more progress with my NBA app! Got the shadcn date picker incorporated and date-fns formatting the selected date to change what the API returns. Also can pull game data from an example JSON file in my app to mimic an API response and make changes without calling the API!
Continuing to work on my NBA app! I added the date to the UI, added a placeholder image if the API is unable to grab a teams logo, and put the team codes on the page to make it easier to know what team it is if there isn't a logo! Wrote out GH issues for my next steps too 🏀
I enjoyed going to Ryan’s talk on data migrations last night! He delved into what he learned from a large migration he did, talked about different ways to approach migrations, and explained what a foreign data wrapper (FDW) is in Postgres. Huge thanks to Tampa Devs for making this event happen!
