You may not be able to tell from my bio abilities, but I’m a writer! I’m also a bookseller! Let me tell you what books to read!
I’ve been carrying this one around with me for a long, long time and just finally managed to finish it. The Seven Moons of Maali Almeida is a difficult read, not just because of intense, graphic violence but because of the setting in a culture I know nothing about and language I’m not familiar with.
Why didn’t anyone tell me Silvia Moreno-Garcia has a new book out this month???
Thought book two in this series was coming out this fall, but it’s actually book three! So, naturally, I had to reread The Golem and the Jinni AND order a copy of The Hidden Palace before I can read The Gates of Midnight in September.
ok but how can anyone successfully adapt the book that changed my life????? variety.com/2026/tv/news...

the point is not a day off/a day of rest. the point of a strike is to reflect and redirect your funds & energy.

This year's Pantone Color of the Year is...uninspired, to say the least, but we think you'll like our little themed stack of reading selections!
Did you know today is the ExtraGive?!? It’s a great time to support your favorite organizations and the nonprofits that keep this world afloat. One of those organizations is Gracie’s House. I started working here earlier this spring, and it’s been an incredible opportunity.

It's time again as a notable Italian-American to note Christopher Columbus was an absolute piece of shit human who didn't land anywhere near this actual country so why the fuck should he stop the mail for the whole day Anyway, Happy Indigenous People's Day, y'all
I love getting the chance to re-read one of my favorite books of the last year for book club @aaronsbooks.bsky.social! Can't wait to tell everyone how much I love it 😍

Speaking from recent experience, I highly recommend not reading I Who Have Never Known Men and The Memory Police back to back… 📚💙
In our opinion, a visit to the bookstore actually *is* the answer to your problems 📚💙
If I'm reading an 800 page book, I really think I should be freed of all other responsibilities 📚💙
You know you’ve been at a bookseller conference when you develop a shoulder bruise perfectly matching the strap of a tote bag full of books 📚💙
After years of emailing back and forth, I finally got to meet @mcflycahill90.bsky.social in person! I can’t wait to read Audition for the Fox - congratulations on your debut 🎉 📚💙
