The only way I can make sense of this is that Spokesperson Trump is explaining the policies of President Musk. Not so much national security as 'I need the minerals for my business" Musk-security. That makes it perfectly reasonable.

At the very least don't take anything on there as information unless you can verify the source and its trustworthiness.
