One thing I have noticed a lot in sports lately is that people often cite a desire for "a level playing field." I am not gonna bring up all the different arenas in which people talk about this because someone will think I'm baiting. But it's worth thinking about all the places it comes up

Curious if there is space to still treat the trans folks with dignity and respect but also not feel like its fair for them to compete in womens sports? Am I the worst for having that opinion?

For about five years, people have made the category error of mistaking every transphobe in the country for a women's sports fan in waiting who just wants to make sure the competition is fair. I wonder how many of those people are in positions of power here. We will know shortly
