Dad - PC Games - Weights - Anime 🇬🇧 England is my city. Lemonade was a popular drink, and it still is.

The Ninth Jedi (Star Wars anime) is on streaming today! That’s the one that had a Visions episode that was so good, they turned it into an expanded series. Think I’m gonna dive in later - I loved the Visions episode.

We have a big, modern family car (a Volvo estate), but I am becoming increasingly fixated on an older, bigger, rugged retro beater of a car that I can use for DIY runs, camping, towing a trailer etc. Something like this. Not expensive, just rugged. Is this my midlife crisis?

Does it ever get boring how positive I am always trying to be on Bluesky? Everything I watch/play is ‘fantastic’ or ‘a delight’… and that’s genuine! I’ve definitely been too negative or harsh on things in the past and I’m actively trying to seek out media that makes me happy.

Started this yesterday (yes, that’s the actual title) during nap time and it may just have the sauce. More of a puzzle game than an RPG… again, I REALLY like a game doing something weird and different. It’s a little bit Inscryption/Pony Island. store.steampowered.com/app/2809660/...

I know there’s a lot of cringe stuff about coffee (Don’t talk to me until I’ve had my coffee!) (‘need more coffee’ on a T-shirt) etc But man Drinking a coffee? In the morning? It really is that good.

Gaming-wise, I have completed Denshattack but I’m not ready for it to finish… so I’ve just been replaying levels over and over for collectibles/golds. I really hate the idea of just dropping a game to race to the next one as soon as you’re finished the campaign… I used to play these games to death!

Do you like to play/watch/read multiple things at once? Like in rotation. Or do you say “This is the series I’m watching, this is the game I’m watching. I’ll move onto the next thing when they’re finished”?

I am at the point of fatherhood, with child number two, that I just do not understand how to fit my hobbies into my life. Kids give me an unbelievably lovely sense of purpose - but the ‘me time’ is so limited. Had an hour free this morning to fit in all my games, shows and books. The gym won.

Home from camping. Pretty good disconnect, pretty great week playing with the kids. Watched some Evangelion early in the morning before everyone else woke up Now am sunburnt to hell and stinky. What did I miss?
