An app feature that really pisses me off: On the train app, when your connection is no longer feasible (due to delays), it offers you the option to search for alternatives. So far so good. When you choose one, it reminds you to check if your ticket is valid on the new connection (1/2)
The nicest thing I've learned this week is that I have pretty eyes. After 42 years of either seeing them from behind glasses, hardly seeing them without or seeing them with contact lenses.... I saw them clearly in the mirror yesterday. They're pretty 😍
Despite all my knowledge about systems, failure and testing, I would probably visit Jurassic Park.
Current status: enjoying the world with 100% vision (short sightedness completely corrected) thanks to artificial lense implants on Wednesday. I was very nervous before the operation, but it was fine! The last days have been spent putting various eye drops in and sometimes wearing sunglasses 😎
I am a professional woman who has her life together... I have forgotten my bra for after the gym ...
Well today was lovely 😍 seeing the sun rise over the red sea, snorkeling with fish, seeing all the colours of blue, and swimming alongside dolphins (no touching, no going too close).
A quick stop in Braunschweig then we headed to Egypt for some much needed rest (evidenced by the monster migraine on the plane). I basically napped for 2 days straight, now I can stay awake for a good 4h at a time 😆
Day 4 of non stop Disney music. Jones says the hallucinations are normal.
When you're actually a cute fairy but you've seen some dark shit

Today in how not to address people gender neutrally....
Anyone wanting to become a ceo should know that one of my tasks today was 'has someone farted or do we have a problem with the drains'
This week in everyday sexism: 1.The person that cold called me asking for Mr Schladebeck. I said he'd reached Ms, he said 'perhaps you're the right person'. When he asked if I was the manager of bredex, I said:yes, but I was disappointed he hadn't researched my gender before calling. He hung up 1/2
He woke up after an hour and we had a lovely little time ❤️💕🤩
Auntie life: taking little man (2yo) to the zoo while the rest of the family run the kids xletix. I've packed more than I pack for some holidays, but currently we're chilling in the Multivan in the zoo car park because little dude fell asleep 5 mins before we arrived 😴❤️😂

Excited for girly shenanigans in November. Halloween party then seeing halestorm in Berlin the day after!
Today is a great day! The first article I ever wrote has been published in a professional magazine. "Software #accessibility includes #gender diversity" can be read in the "Testing Experience" magazine. You can download it here: www.testingexperience.media (email address must be supplied) (1/2)

I started the morning crunching numbers (yay c level shenanigans) and spent the afternoon auntying. New tip unlocked: if the baby hides for too long, he's having a nice big poo on the floor (thankfully tiles). 😆🤩 #sundayShenanigans
Dashboards > Tests? 👀 Observability isn't about tech - it's about trust. @alexschl.bsky.social + Tim Winselmann will show you how to prove your app works in prod (and keeps making $). Real stories. Real outcomes. Fewer escalations. 🔗 tinyurl.com/xr6jwed6 #AgileTD#Observability #DevOps
We REALLY need to focus our conversations on value.
Having some critical thoughts about using AI to enhance your user story descriptions. Because I thought that the whole point was to have conversations, not generate text so my Jira tickets are fuller. #gtd

Trans men’s insight on this is so fucking valuable in understanding the nuances of what’s going on with men. We need to be amplifying them, and hopefully cis men can realize what is actually the source of their loneliness.

I was just about to post and thank you for listening and helping! 💕😍
Listening to @alexschl.bsky.social talk about exploring and the explorers mindset is always a pleasure and an inspiration. I want to break out of constraints and go exploring now!
