Meta is and always has been about surveillance. Its origins are rooted in sexual predation and objectification. There's so much one could say, how about awful the company and its founder are. But all you really need to know is that there is never a bad day to stop using their products.

I promise, no matter what they say they are doing, Meta is using this to scrape everything they can find on your devices and recording everything you do or say. It is what they’ve done with every product they’ve ever released. Nothing of yours is safe if you use this, no matter how careful you are.

It's absolutely everywhere in primary schools. All the cute flyers that the kids used to make to promote fundraisers and special days are now genAI. Posters advertising the school production that used to be a chance for kids to do some art and craft are all genAI. It's taken over everything.
